Federal white-collar criminal allegations are some of the most serious charges an individual or organization can face in the United States. Generally, these crimes carry the potential to damage a person’s reputation and take away their freedom. If the case is pursued at the civil level, it could result in significant fines and penalties that can harm you and your business. When you need a federal defense law firm for your case, turn to the legal team at Oberheiden P.C.

With Arlington located inside the Dallas-Fort Worth Metro area, the region has a heavy federal law enforcement presence. Unfortunately, that can lead to more scrutiny for many local businesses and individuals in the Northern District of Texas. At Oberheiden P.C., our white-collar criminal defense attorneys are dedicated to providing skilled legal representation for individuals and corporations facing white-collar allegations in Arlington, Texas. With increased enforcement, protecting your rights and livelihood should be your top priority.

What Is the Oberheiden P.C. Difference?

Arlington is home to many high-profile law firms, but which one puts the client first? At Oberheiden P.C., we separate ourselves from other white-collar criminal defense firms by focusing on the client and their unique circumstances.

A Federal-First Law Firm

The majority of criminal cases are prosecuted in state courts. While some experienced state defense attorneys may believe that handling federal white-collar cases is similar at this level, that is never the case. The distinction between state and federal offenses is frequently understated. The experience at the state level does not translate to the federal court system, creating ramifications for the client. Criminal defense lawyers who practice at the state level will not be on the same footing within the federal court system. It is equivalent to practicing in a new jurisdiction, where the laws and court interpretations may differ.

For experienced federal defense attorneys, the federal court is their area of focus, and they are familiar with the subtleties of the system. White-collar crimes are usually prosecuted as federal offenses. With that, they are handled by federal prosecutors in district court and governed by federal criminal statutes. Additionally, the federal government has more resources for these cases, including using some of the most experienced law enforcement agencies to investigate white-collar accusations.

Remember that the penalties for conviction of a federal offense are often significantly higher than in a state case. The potential for substantial prison sentences and fines raises the stakes for the client, making it imperative to find a law firm with experience working in the federal system and handling these white-collar cases.

At Oberheiden P.C., we focus our practice on federal cases. While many law firms offer various legal services while focusing their defense on state crimes, we handle federal cases more often than state ones in order to provide our clients with the best possible legal representation in federal district court.

Attorneys and Investigators With Extensive Experience

At Oberheiden P.C., we provide high-quality legal services to clients who need assistance with white-collar criminal legal issues. Our attorneys have years of experience defending against and prosecuting these types of offenses at the highest levels of the federal court system. With this legal background, our law firm offers our clients unparalleled knowledge to craft an effective defense to fight these allegations in federal court.

We have a proven track record of success in handling complex federal white-collar defense cases. Over the years, our team of senior-level attorneys has represented clients in a wide range of industries and professions, including finance, healthcare, and government. We understand a federal indictment’s impact on an individual or a business. For that reason, we strive to provide our clients with the highest quality representation and guidance throughout the federal legal process.

In addition to our team of attorneys with decades of experience, we also have a team of dedicated investigators who will thoroughly investigate the facts of your case. Like our senior-level lawyers, these investigators have ample experience assembling evidence and looking for fact patterns in cases similar to your situation. With these professionals working on your case, we can provide a comprehensive defense strategy for you. We work closely with our investigators to gather all relevant evidence, interview key witnesses, and review all documents to build a strong defense strategy.

Senior-Level Attorneys Will Handle Your White-Collar Case

When facing a federal criminal charge, you want to have a skilled legal team on your case. While other firms may have similarly extensive backgrounds and experience in defending federal cases, you might not have direct access to these attorneys. In many cases, junior associates and paralegals carry out most of the legal defense work in the early stages of their careers.

At Oberheiden P.C., we understand the importance of having direct access to a senior lawyer. When you choose our law firm to represent you, we will never use a paralegal or junior associate to handle your case. We do not even employ these individuals in our firm.

Also, when you work with our firm, you will not have to wait until the start of the trial to meet your senior attorney. From the beginning of the case, you will have access to them. When you contact our office, that call goes directly to the senior attorney working on your defense strategy. With that, we ensure that your case is handled with the highest level of attention throughout the entire process.

Our senior lawyers are highly skilled in navigating the complex legal landscape of federal law. In fact, many have worked at the highest levels in the Department of Justice. They understand the strategies and tactics used by federal prosecutors to win a case. With Oberheiden P.C. as your defense team, you can be confident that you have the best representation to defend your rights and interests in the federal courtroom.
