Ellen Comley is counsel to Oberheiden P.C. and a resident of the Houston, Texas office.
Federal Defense. Ellen has substantial experience with all aspects of federal criminal cases from pre-indictment investigations to trial preparation. She has defended individual clients as well as businesses from across the United States against complex FBI, DEA, OIG, IRS, and Department of Justice investigations, Grand Jury proceedings, search warrants, asset forfeiture enforcements, as well as in a large variety of contested court hearings. While her primary focus is healthcare fraud defense, Ellen routinely defends clients accused of or under investigation for a variety of federal offenses and federal conspiracy charges including but not limited to public corruption, federal Controlled Substances Act cases, tax fraud, tax evasion, mail and wire fraud, and bribery, to name just a few.
Admission & Education. Ellen received her Juris Doctorate from The University of Alabama School of Law and her undergraduate degree from The University of Mississippi. Ellen is licensed to practice law in Texas as well as admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
