Former Special Agent in Charge (FDA, HSI)


Jared H. Davis just retired from various positions held with the FDA (Office of Criminal Investigations) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
FDA & Homeland Security. Special Agent Davis spent about ten years each with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as well as with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). Many of his hundreds of FDA investigations— often coordinated in combination with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the Justice Department, the DEA, and the FBI—focused on company compliance with applicable FDA and other federal laws, in particular misbranding, diversion, and counterfeit. At HSI, Mr. Davis participated in investigations in the Houston regional office as a case agent where he conducted, led, and supervised currency seizures, smuggling, money laundering, and complex drug investigations.
Client Services. Mr. Davis offers clients not just valuable knowledge about the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act but also unique insight understanding about the behind-the-scenes process of investigations involving misbranding, diversion, adulteration, and tampering with FDA regulated products as well as theft and counterfeit production of intellectual property right protected products.
Polygraph Examiner. Mr. Davis previously supervised the FDA Polygraph Program and conducted high-stake polygraph examinations in cases involving terrorism support investigations, money laundering, smuggling, child pornography, and other cases in coordination with both foreign and domestic law enforcement and intelligence personnel.
Education & Training. Mr. Davis is a graduate of the Criminal Investigator Training Program (FLETC) and the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Special Agent Training Program. He received a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice from Sam Houston State University.
