Jonathan E. Goldberg is Litigation Counsel at Oberheiden P.C. with more than three decades of experience representing corporations, executives, and institutions in high-stakes federal court proceedings.

Jonathan began his career at Baker & McKenzie before completing a federal clerkship under The Honorable Harvey E. Schlesinger in the Middle District of Florida. He subsequently practiced at Davis Polk & Wardwell and other AMLaw firms before joining Oberheiden P.C.

He has first-chaired and won two federal jury trials, including a Section 1983 excessive force case (Ruffin v. Fuller) and a federal employment discrimination and retaliation case (Riscilli v. Gibson Guitar). He also co-lead a third jury trial victory defending corporations and their executives against claims for breach of contract, fraud, conspiracy, defamation, and tortious interference.

Jonathan has extensive experience litigating TROs and preliminary injunctions in both federal and state courts. He has also defended clients in federal investigations by the DOJ and DOL, and has handled federal and state appeals.

His substantive background spans whistleblower/retaliation claims, constitutional claims, qui tam, civil rights defense, government investigations, commercial fraud, contract disputes, and employment law. He has litigated hundreds of cases in federal and state courts across the country and is a skilled mediator who understands the value of early resolution where appropriate.
