Biography
Licensed to practice in Arizona, California, Colorado, Minnesota and Utah, federal defense attorney Kamille Dean is offering clients more than a decade of criminal litigation and trial, judicial clerkship and government experience.
Experience. Ms. Dean began her legal career as an intern with the Drug Enforcement Bureau (DEB) of the Arizona Attorney General’s office. Her position involved working on a joint taskforce with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), conducting wiretap investigations and securing indictments on numerous drug-trafficking organizations. Ms. Dean still uses the behind-the-scenes knowledge she gained of the inner-workings of federal law enforcement, to this day. Following her tenure on the DEB and DEA taskforce, she clerked for two years with the Hon. Philip D. Bush of the fourth judicial district of Hennepin County in Minneapolis Minnesota. During that time, she assisted in the drafting of rulings during criminal trials and helped author an opinion overturning a murder conviction. Since 2007, Ms. Dean has been aggressively representing private clients in both federal civil and federal criminal cases. Ms. Dean’s most recent experience has included representing individuals and corporations, in both criminal and civil matters involving over $100 million in alleged healthcare fraud, mail fraud, wire fraud and money laundering. In that capacity, she defended matters investigated by the DEA, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
Client Services. Ms. Dean represents corporations and individuals in federal civil and federal criminal courts. This includes representing clients at the pre-indictment grand jury investigation stage or when facing serious federal allegation at both the pretrial and trial levels.
Education & Admission. Kamille graduated from the University of Minnesota, School of Law (cum laude), Northern Arizona University at Flagstaff with a Master’s degree in Psychology (with distinction), and Mesa State College with a Bachelor degree in Psychology (summa cum laude). She is licensed to practice law in Arizona, California, Colorado, Minnesota and Utah, as well as before a variety of federal courts across the country.
Ms. Dean commutes between Los Angeles and Phoenix with a main residence in Arizona.
