Kevin M. Sheridan

Former Special Agent (FBI)

Biography

Kevin M. Sheridan is a retired Supervisory Special Agent, who served the Federal Bureau of Investigation at the FBI Washington D.C., Miami, Dallas, and El Paso field offices and FBI Headquarters. Mr. Sheridan maintains FBI Top Secret (TS) security clearance.

Client Services. Special Agent Sheridan managed and supervised large-scale, high-profile, and sensitive federal investigations with a particular focus on white-collar offenses (e.g. financial crimes and healthcare fraud) as well as matters of national security, CIA/FBI counterintelligence, and aviation security. Mr. Sheridan offers corporate and individual clients two decades of frontline leadership experience specifically when it comes to Medicare, Medicaid, workers’ compensation, and private insurance healthcare fraud enforcement and compliance.

Healthcare Fraud. Tasked to implement President Obama’s National Directive to fight healthcare fraud, Mr. Sheridan was one of the architects of forming Medicare Fraud Strike Force teams consisting of specialized agents from the FBI, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS-OIG), the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU), as well as specifically selected Justice Department prosecutors. As the supervisor of the FBI Healthcare Fraud Squad, Special Agent Sheridan was the lead agent on the investigation of Dr. Jacques Roy, the largest healthcare fraud prosecution of a single physician in U.S. history amounting to $450 million.

President Clinton Investigation. Assigned to the FBI’s Washington D.C. office, Special Agent Sheridan served as the primary investigator in FBI Major Case 133, codenamed “CAMPCON”, involving the 1996 Presidential Election Campaign centered on President Clinton and the Democratic National Committee. In this capacity, Mr. Sheridan testified before the Governmental Affairs Committee of the U.S. Senate and he worked closely with other members of the intelligence community.

Education. Mr. Sheridan graduated with honors in accounting from Eastern New Mexico University before joining Ernst & Young as a tax accountant. Mr. Sheridan served in the United States Air Force and achieved the rank of Sergeant before receiving a Unites States Army Reserve commission and served as a Captain/Air Defense Officer.
