Kevin P. Davidson

Kevin P. Davidson became the Acting United States Attorney for the Middle District of Alabama on August 25, 2024. Before assuming this role, he served as the First Assistant United States Attorney and Criminal Chief, overseeing the investigation and prosecution of criminal cases across the 23 counties in the district. Mr. Davidson first joined the U.S. Attorney’s Office in 2012 as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, handling a range of criminal cases and holding leadership positions such as Project Safe Childhood Coordinator and Lead Attorney for the Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force.
Before his tenure at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Mr. Davidson spent eight years as a Deputy District Attorney in Montgomery County. He earned his undergraduate degree from Auburn University Montgomery and his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law.
