Sara Sweeney

Sara C. Sweeney currently serves as the Acting United States Attorney for the Middle District of Florida. She began her career with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida in 2010, working in the Criminal Division in Tampa, where she focused on white collar crimes and national security issues. Ms. Sweeney has held several key roles, including Deputy Chief of the Orlando office and Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Appellate Division. She earned her undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech and her law degree from Stanford University.
