TIMOTHY ALLEN (U.S. Secret Service, ret.) – Tim spent more than a decade with the U.S. Secret Service in the Electronic Crimes Special Agent Program (ECSAP). Tim has taught electronic crimes and computer forensics to local, state, federal, and international law enforcement. He retired as a Senior Special Agent with the Department of Justice, Office of Inspector General, where he specialized in internal criminal & administrative investigations of employees within the DOJ umbrella with a cyber or electronic nexus.
JAMES DARNELL (U.S. Secret Service, ret.) – James is a recently retired U.S. Secret Service computer crime investigator, cyber defense, and digital forensic expert who previously led the computer forensic component of the U.S. Secret Service ECSAP
program. He spent 21 years with the Secret Service, 16 of which were in different roles with the Criminal Investigative Division (CID) and the National Computer Forensic Institute (NCFI).
DAVID BENTZ (U.S. Secret Service, ret.) – David is the founding supervisor of the U.S. Secret Service computer crimes task force in Dallas—a task force that he helped grow to over 400 members. Following his Secret Service career, David spent 10 years with a privately held security company in Fort Worth, TX. His teams provided a wide breadth of technical security to hundreds of company sites, employees, Flight Base of Operations, and private residences. David is often engaged as a public speaker — his presentations focus on bringing cybersecurity to the forefront of companies, government agencies, and the public at-large.
